Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

Caravans by Active Leisure Ltd

Financial Year Ending: 31st December 2025

1. Introduction

This statement is made pursuant to Section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and outlines the steps Caravans by Active Leisure Ltd has taken during the financial year ending 31 December 2025 to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains.

Caravans by Active Leisure Ltd is committed to upholding human rights and ethical business practices. We oppose slavery in all forms — including forced labour, bonded labour, child labour, and human trafficking — and we are dedicated to identifying and mitigating these risks within our operations and supply chain.

2. Our Business

Caravans by Active Leisure Ltd is a UK-based caravan dealership, providing new and used vehicle sales, servicing, repairs, and aftercare. Our operations are based in the Midlands, with a single primary showroom and workshop, and a team of approximately 12 employees.

We source caravans and related parts and accessories from both UK and international suppliers.

3. Our Supply Chain

Our supply chain includes:

UK and European -based caravan manufacturers

European and global parts suppliers

Vehicle finance and warranty providers

Facilities, cleaning, and maintenance contractors

We recognise that global supply chains — particularly those involving manufactured components — may pose risks of modern slavery. We are committed to improving transparency and working only with suppliers who uphold ethical labour standards.

4. Policies & Governance

Caravans by Active Leisure Ltd has the following policies and procedures in place:

Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy – Sets out our zero-tolerance approach and outlines our expectations for employees and suppliers.

Supplier Code of Conduct – Requires suppliers to confirm adherence to laws on human rights, labour practices, and health & safety.

Whistleblowing Policy – Provides staff with a secure channel to report concerns about unethical or illegal conduct, including human rights violations.

These policies are reviewed annually and updated to reflect changes in legislation and industry best practice.

5. Due Diligence and Risk Assessment

In 2025, we took the following steps to assess and manage risk:

Supplier reviews – All new suppliers checked for labour standards and ethical sourcing.

Contract clauses – We updated key supplier contracts to include provisions on modern slavery compliance.

Staff awareness – All staff involved in procurement, HR, and operations received basic training on identifying signs of modern slavery.

High-risk areas – We identified imported parts and third-party service providers as potential higher-risk areas and prioritised them for review.

6. Effectiveness and KPIs

To assess the effectiveness of our actions, we monitor:

Number of suppliers vetted for modern slavery risks

Staff training completion rates

Reports or incidents related to modern slavery (to date, none)

We aim to increase supply chain transparency and introduce third-party audits for selected high-risk suppliers in 2026.

7. Training and Awareness

In 2025, all relevant employees (procurement, HR, management) completed online training on:

What constitutes modern slavery

How to spot warning signs

How to report concerns internally or externally (e.g. to the Modern Slavery Helpline)

This training will be refreshed annually.

8. Approval and Review

This statement was approved by the Board of Directors on October 9, 2025, and will be reviewed annually.
