Privacy Policy

Caravans by Active Leisure Ltd ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use this website or contact us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.

Who we are

What personal data we collect

We may collect the following information when you use our website, submit an enquiry form, request a finance quote, or contact us by phone or email:

Name, email address, phone number and postal address; details of the caravan(s) you are interested in, trading in, or enquiring about; information you provide when requesting a finance quote (such as income or vehicle details), which is passed to our finance partner; and technical information such as pages visited and general location, collected anonymously through our website analytics.

How we use your data

We use your personal data to respond to enquiries and provide quotes; to process finance applications, via our finance partner Evolution Funding; to arrange test drives, part-exchange valuations, services, or workshop bookings; to send you information about caravans, offers or events, where you have agreed to this, or it is in our legitimate interest to do so and you have not opted out; and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

Our legal basis for processing this data is generally your consent (for example, submitting an enquiry form), the steps necessary to perform a contract with you, or our legitimate business interests, which we balance against your rights.

Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with the following third parties, strictly for the purposes described above:

Evolution Funding, our finance partner, when you request a finance quote or application; GoHighLevel, the customer relationship management (CRM) platform we use to manage enquiries and follow-ups; Gravity Forms, the form plugin used on this website to collect and route your enquiry to us; Google Ads and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Ads, where we run advertising and, where permitted by your cookie choices, use conversion tracking or remarketing; and Plausible Analytics, our website analytics provider, which does not use cookies or collect personally identifiable information (see our Cookie Policy for details).

Each of these providers processes data under their own privacy policy and, where applicable, a data processing agreement with us.

How long we keep your data

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes it was collected for, including to satisfy any legal, accounting or reporting requirements. Enquiry and CRM records are typically retained for a reasonable period to allow us to follow up and provide ongoing service, after which they are deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to: request access to the personal data we hold about you; request that we correct inaccurate data; request that we delete your data, where applicable; request that we restrict or object to certain processing; and request that your data be moved to another organisation (data portability), where technically feasible.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@caravansbyactiveleisure.co.uk or 01782 538853. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

Our website uses a limited number of cookies, mainly for advertising and remarketing purposes. For full details, see our Cookie Policy.
